What Exactly is The constitutional Coalition of Law-Abiding States?

This concept is one that was originally suggested by Lt. Col. Allen West (now head of the Texas GOP) in December, 2020 which captured the imagination of Americans everywhere. This site was created to help this seed of an idea germinate and GROW!

For those who haven't already seen it, here's a link to Allen West's original proposal and an explanation of the idea, in his own words. Some initially misinterpreted this as a push for succession, but when you read his full description, that is NOT in any way what he is suggesting (in fact, it's just the opposite).

At it's core, the idea of a 'Constitutional Coalition of Law-Abiding States' has immeasurable appeal for Americans who feel that the outcome of the 2020 election was based on rampant election fraud across key battleground States.

This initiative finally gives Law-Abiding States a chance to TEAM-UP and push-back against overreach by the Federal Govt (& against the Left-Leaning activists they work with). Specifically, this option offers an assertive - but Peaceful - path for a coalition of law-abiding States to rally around the unifying cause of The Constitution, Civility, & The Classic American Dream.

How Exactly Would This Work?

Again, the overarching goal is to create a virtual ‘Dream Team’ of the Safest, most Civil, Law-Abiding States in the country to bring together our Leaders, People, & Ideas & Push Back against much of the Federal overreach that's been going on lately.

There are many, many GREAT ideas that have been floating around recently. The following list is simply a starting point/sampling of the type of TANGIBLE activities that Coalition States could immediately act upon to help reinforce The U.S. Constitution, Civility, and The Classic American Dream for all of us:

Recommitting ourselves to The U.S. Constitution
Enforcing Law & Order (from Street Thugs to Senators)
Honoring & Supporting our Military & Law-Enforcement
Redesigning Education around a Pro-American curriculum
Advocating - as a Coalition - within Congress, U.S. elections, etc.

Recommitting Ourselves to The U.S. Constitution

Hosting ‘Constitutional Coalition’ Conventions:

WHO: Governors from each member State of ‘Constitutional Coalition’
WHAT: Discuss, Select, & Strategize around Top Coalition Priorities
WHEN: Member States/cities volunteer to host annual/semi-annual conventions
WHERE: Somewhere in the Heartland of America (away from Washington D.C.!)
WHY: To unify & strategize around shared Priorities, People, & Plans

Challenge Unconstitutional Laws/Policies:

Team-up with fellow State AGs to select the right cases, the right State-level courts, and the right multi-State legal teams to challenge Unconstitutional laws or policies.

Prosecute known election fraud practices by some of our more ‘Lawless States’
Push back against HR1 (Federal bill to move control of elections from States to the Feds)
1st Amendment: Renew the right to celebrate Christmas, Easter, etc. in public spaces
1st Amendment: Eliminate Section 230 Fed. Protection of Big Tech Censorship
2nd Amendment: Roll-back limits on 2nd Amendment Rights
(etc.)

Rally around 'Convention of States':

This is a Constitutional option that the Founders included which allows States to BYPASS Congress and make changes to the U.S. Constitution directly.

Requires 34 States to formally pass a COS resolution
15 States have already passed the COS resolution
8 more States have passed the COS resolution in one chamber
16 additional States have active legislation under consideration for the COS resolution

Enforcing Law & Order (from Street Thugs to Senators)

Arresting & Prosecuting those who Riot, Assault, Destroy Personal Property, etc.

Arresting & Prosecuting those who engage in Election Fraud

Arresting & Prosecuting those who attempted the Coup of a U.S. President

Arresting & Prosecuting Federal Politicians/Employees for known Crimes:

Multi-State AG teams open State-level investigations against one of the many corrupt DC politicians or bureaucrats whose crimes we already know about:

Hillary Clinton
Lois Lerner
Peter Strzok, James Clapper, James Comey, John Brennan, etc.

Honoring & Supporting our Military & Law-Enforcement

[There is so much that Law-Abiding States could do to help further support our Military & Law Enforcement, but the following are just a couple of ideas to start that conversation…]

Increase Law-Enforcement funding by 10%(?)

Eliminate State taxes for active Military and Law-Enforcement(?)

Redesigning Education around a Pro-American Curriculum

Dennis Prager noted... "If you lose your memory, you are no longer the person you used to be."

History classes in our schools are the equivalent of America's long-term memory. Whatever is taught to our children in those History classes (True, untrue, and everything in between) becomes America’s new 'long-term memory'. Do we really want our Educational system leaving-out all of the good parts of American history (& the collective 'Long-Term Memory' of our great country)?

Redesign K-12 national Textbook/test standards with a Pro-American Curriculum:

Textbook publishers already design national textbooks in coordination with only 2 or 3 large States (such as Texas or California), and they assume other States will simply accept the contents (frankly, because we do).
HOWEVER, a massive buying coalition of 5 or more States proactively approaching Textbook & National Testing providers with a Pro-American curriculum and an ultimatum will be absolutely catered to by 1 or more of these providers.
Possible Starting Point: President Trump's '1776 Commission' which detailed foundational Pro-American principles (& lessons learned) that should be taught in every American school. A link to this commission's final recommendations ('The 1776 Report') can be found HERE.

Redesign University standards (& Personnel) around a Pro-American Curriculum:

Again, a massive buying coalition of 5 or more States proactively approaching Textbook & National Test providers with a Pro-American curriculum and an ultimatum will be catered to by publishers.
States can also begin to renew and/or reinforce University standards to respect and encourage free-speech and free-thought by Conservative professors and students (on par with liberal peers).
Professors who aren’t comfortable with a new Pro-American curriculum can be ‘managed out’ for non-compliance and replaced with more Conservative professors (whom we can recruit from some of the more ‘lawless States’ that actively suppress Conservative thought and free speech in the University environment).

Advocating - as a Coalition - within Congress, U.S. elections, etc.

Pass self-imposed Term Limits on State’s own U.S. Congressmen & Senators

Create a formidable buying coalition of 5 or more States proactively approaching national Voting System providers with common-sense requirements for fair and honest elections:

Voter ID Validation
Paper ballots
Transparent auditing systems
Push back against HR1 (Federal bill to move control of elections from States to the Feds)
(etc.)

Advocate – as a massive multi-State Coalition – for Constitutional/Common-Sense priorities

- Balanced Budget Amendment

• No Congressional approval of funds without a Balanced Budget

• No more ‘Continuing Resolution’ funding games

• No Balanced Budget? No Money, period.

- Eliminate ‘Base Line Budgeting’

• No ‘automatic’ spending of money on same programs & problems each year

• Every Federal agency, pet-project, etc. must justify their costs EVERY year

- Federal Term Limits on all U.S. Congressmen and Senators
